Writing is an art and not
many people in this world are born artists. We live in a world, where we
need to deal with literary endeavors every now and again and if we fail as a
writer then we most definitely can’t end up at a respectable place in this
world. Firstly, in the schools, we get so many literary assignments that we end
up cursing our fate as a student and eventually have to spend all of the time
that we could have enjoyed with friends on stupid assignments. When we grow up
and get a job, often we have to write the minutes of the meeting or the event
reports that are asked by the higher authority and normally we don’t have much
time; if we fail to come up with something interesting then we are shown the
exit door most of the times. The problem is not that we can’t do it, the
problem is that we can’t do it efficiently if we don’t possess the art. They
say that practice can make you perfect and over the years, we write enough to
be able to write anything afterwards. Even then it’s difficult sometimes to
keep on writing when you don’t have enough creativity; sometimes you just get
stuck in between compiling something and aren’t able to figure out which road
to further take; the situation is known as writer’s block and even famous
writers claim to have, at some point, experienced it. Let’s then discuss some ways
of how to overcome it:
1.
The best way to deal with it is to just change
what you are writing. This can be done if you are writing something for
personal or creative reasons and not because it’s mandatory. Just shift the
paradigm to something that you can conjure ideas on.
2.
Move your body, do yoga, exercise or just hit
the gym. Research has revealed that doing so can open up your mind to new ideas
and essay writing can become a lot
simpler.
3.
Remove any distractions that might be hindering
your journey to becoming a writer. Turn off your phone, deactivate social
accounts and avoid people whilst compiling anything.
4.
The best time to write is in the early morning.
So if you are stuck, make sure you wake up early one day and write endlessly.
The birds chirping and the crickets singing will help you a lot.
